It will be an interesting thing to see the bench scale results from nitric acid fusing of K-spar. I had a look for analogues, but there's currently no or few K-spar potassium deposits being run for fertiliser, so the killer for this project is really the kinematics of the acid leach reaction.

Plus, as nice as it is to think you'll just make your own acid and stuff...that's all a cost. I think it's going to be a very challenging project to pull off.
