We all seem to be looking for someone or something to blame ... the CEO (on communication and false promises), WPL (on Ching and exploration failures .. absolutely!!!), Merrill Lynch (loaning shares to shorters), a takeover play (possible), the market (for not underrstanding the potential) ....etc.

While I concede that I am mostly responsible for being in my current positions ... I will nominate from the above believing the story too much (Simon's assurances as you point out) .. as the reason I'm STILL in those positions. Every time I think of selling (or heresy .. going short) I think .. what if there is an announcement and ... Uganda is BIG, Guyane is farmed out to a major, Flamant is successful ...etc. So I hold on ... but I like all of us am guessing as to whether Uganda will be big because even after 7 months from Mputa discovery we have NO IDEA ... that's ridiculous, and Guyane was meant to be drilled by now.

Very frustrated and likely to sell just before all these good things are announced knowing my luck!
