    R2t2,

There is an error in that SS post.....

    " 270 g/t U3O8 translates to 2.7 kg/t. DD has 3.5 kg/t¡..looking good."

    Should be 0.27 kg/t. DD has 0.35 kg/t.

And while we have plenty of time waiting...waiting, below is some research by Tibbs on the all important depths.

"I have been posting for some time on AEX & Denny Dalton. I have done heaps of research and am quite confident in the eventual success of both company & project.

However I have no illusions that this is a dead easy Eldorado! The minerized zone is currently only an average of 1m thick. So if it is deep, it will be uneconomical!
So how deep are we looking at? Well I come across this report from some research on DD:

"Drill core material (BP-samples) originating from a 26m deep borehole situated on Mount Sophia farm, about 7km east-southeast of Denny Dalton mine (Fig. 2), was made available by Southern Sphere Exploration Co. At its base the borehole intersected tuffs belonging to the Nsuze Group. Upwards they are followed by a 3m thick zone of gritty quartzite and puddingstone, a quartzite containing scattered quartz pebbles of up to 7cm in diameter (Fig. 3). The hanging wall of the puddingstone is formed by a 3 m thick pyritic conglomerate zone whose pebbles consisit of vein quartz, quartzite and chert. This conglomerate zone is correlated with the basal conglomerate zone exposed at Denny Dalton."

That 26m borehole in Mount Sophia is one of the holes reported on in the July 2005 announcement.

So we know we are looking at a thin, 1m zone of ore around the 26m depth. Very comforting IMO

However in past years it WAS uneconomical - until recently. When Savanna put Denny Dalton up for sale in early 2005, Uranium had a spot price of around $22 p/lb.

    Curently $45.50 & rising! - Hah!

So we have a thin zone of polymetal ore - gold & uranium together at about 26m depth across a large area. Lowish grade & thin zone, but easy & economical to get too, AND polymetal: Gold & Uranium, both of which have risen massively in price.

So IMO, this is a Uranium project that will have gold as a by-product. Denny Dalton is not the same as other Witwatersrand gold mines that have uranium. As I Mentioned, the Rand mines are DEEP, I mean DAMNED DEEP, that is why they often dont bother with the uranium. Danny Dalton is a quartz-pebble conglomerate, but is shallower & of different style to those in the Transvaal."

I remain very confident that AEX has a fabulous resource here. There will be challenges, but IMO they are manageable.
First things first tho, lets 1] Confirm the original drills & 2] Increase the JORC level.

Well the drilling has started & we will know soon enough."
