LOL I know what you mean, honestly just ignore such people and put your energy into something more productive. The purpose of forums is to exchange ideas, learn from one another, support each other and not bashing one another. No wonder why the walls of the society is broken.
Its very important to diversify and never put your eggs in one basket, having a balanced portfolio is very important, mixed with short term stocks, stocks with dividends and long term stocks in different sectors. I am only holding one stock that pays dividends because I am trying to build more wealth as I am in my early 30s, different strategy, but will start building my portfolio with companies that pay dividends in late 30s.
