Finally out

I just wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone whose posts I had been reading here for a number of years now, and let you all know that, I've finally bit the bullet and ate my losses on this one by selling out.

On 18 June 2012 I bought into this company on the back of poor due diligence on my behalf, being too easily sold on the concept of booming rockets and the often promised, but not really reached, market changing potential of this business. After acquiring a parcel of shares for $0.985 a share, I watched and waited for the TOL to be issued, for the business to start producing and the share value to go back up past that $2.00 point that it had been at for so long, and so many people were sure it would come back to.

Today, I sold my share parcel at $0.081 and decided it was easier to eat the losses (which I pray I will make up in the years to come) than sit there watching that massive red number in my portfolio. I just simply couldn't take it any more.

So I want to just say to all who have been on the ride, good luck and I hope it does bounce and fortunes are reversed. I hope the rockets fire, and I hope you all make a tidy profit. I really don't care if this thing goes to the moon any more, because it has taught me a couple of invaluable lessons:

1. Don't believe 95% of what people holding shares are telling you;
2. In concert with 2 - don't believe what people on the internet are telling you for the most part;
3. Install stop losses at a comfortable level;
4. Buy something that is achieving value, rather than the promise of same.

Those lessons came at a cost, but it is better to learn them earlier in my investing career than later.

It's been a ride for me for sure, and I appreciate the lessons being learned the hard way. I am confident I will make up the losses somewhere. Good luck to all holders, may this thing spark into life and pay you back for your loyalty and your hopes.
