The analogy of a needle in a haystack for the conventional plays is sort of true because they were drilling blind.

However Icewine #1 was all about the unconventional play so rather than a needle in a haystack it is more akin to a needle and a pimple.

If the pimple is ripe for poking, it really doesn't matter where that needle is poked to find that sweet spot

My understanding if the unconventional was unsuccessful from the first drill then it would be ruled out across the whole site.
