It is pure speculation. They had about 15m left as of their ceasing substantial notice. Obvious they only became substantial due return of borrow to them.
Very hard to see how they could move more than 1m a day net without really tanking price. Their very sophisticated trading systems would be trying move not so much as tank price but still get out of position. Cunning approaches even use other brokers for selling so as to disguise sell down. Arguably they ought allow 2-3 "up days" in row as part of sell down to maximise own returns. This hasn't happened yet, but could. All part of game.
