Question: Was there any comment about the Ching repair works. in particular:

Answer. From my discussion with HDR I understand that three additional production wells are to be drilled in the Southern sector. The first will commence in October and is expected to be in production by end 2006. This should add a further 10,000+ bpd to the 35,000 current stabilised flow bringing the flow rate back to around 45,000bpd. The other two will either be drilled late this year or in the new year.


Question: Is there any doubt about What they plan to do (they are committed to 3 new holes at agreed target spots)
Answer: They will use new seismic to assist them in placing the new wells in the optimal position so as not to draw in from the existing Southern wells.

Question: Is there any doubt about the plan to start the repair works at the end of September/ early the following quarter?
Answer: see above

Question: Was there any comment re Tiof decision - SP seems to be consistently positive that development will be OKed, but the constant put back of announcements is of concern.
Answer: I gather that the Tension leg platform will be the optimal rig to use for Tioff. No definate timing as yet. Perhaps something in half yearly report
