Hanrahn, TA was elected on a lie. He promised Australian's X and delivered Y in the 2013/14 budget, so don't rewrite history. I put this to HC: do you honestly think TA would have won in the landslide he did if he was honest pre-election rather than a lying scum. The fact that the Newspolls showed BS was more popular than TA is a reflection of the lie he betrayed on the Australian people pre-election. It was a very easy job for the Senate to block the measures - they were grossly unfair when you think TA's mates pay little tax, and the welfare given to high income earners in the form of NG, salary sacrificing, super, multinational tax avoidance, many of the rich paying little tax etc etc. Why do you think TA didn't pull the DD trigger before he was turfed out in Sept last year
