I dont understand why figures arent released. We havent even been told who the customer is and we havent been told the total value. The total value offers nothing confidential to anyone - it the order was for (say) $10m, no one can tell if that covers all of the purchaser's production or 25%, so you cannot figure out the unit pricing. Its entirely reasonable for AJX to tell a second purchaser that the first one got a better deal because it was first in line; and in any case AJX's pricing has to be similar to existing suppliers (I appreciate its product is better, but carpet manufacturers hardly sell on their FR level except in specialist areas; FR is a regulatory requirement so the cheaper it can be met the better).
The fact that a carpeting company purchased FR items is hardly market sensitive, after all they have to buy the stuff.
The only sensitivity could be around the purchaser's current FR supplier learning that they will now be selling $10m less FR than previously. But thats hardly sufficient to justify a lack of detail.
We honestly dont know if this is a $10k or a $10m contract. Is it for specialist installation in highly fire sensitive markets worth $5m in sales per year, or on household and/or commercial carpeting worth billions. It makes a pretty big difference
At the very least, if there is sensitivity, AJX should tell us the reasons why it cannot provide further information.
As others have said, continually releasing new contract announcements and continually not telling us the value of those contracts is why the price is going no where. Its become a habit and there has been no explanation as to why. Accepting the revenue confirmation as correct, it still raises a suspicion that these new contracts are just not worth much and that is why we arent being told.
To avoid people arguing the wrong point, I'm happy with the company, the management and excited about the product. I'm not excited about the continual announcements that dont actually tell us anything particularly useful. This isnt an issue of us having to 'read between the lines' - we should be told. It is 'our' company, we shouldnt have to read between the lines (which, really, means make a speculative guess)
