Watched Munich on DVD on Friday night, a great movie.
I was expected the story line to portray the palestinians as evil monsters and the Israelis as innocent victims who become the big heros.
I was very surprised and now know why the usual suspects here did not make a big deal out of the movie when it was released. I mean afet all it was a movie made by one of their own. Speilbeg and about a topic that they ues to justify their narrow minded hate filled views.
The movie certainly did not make heros about of any one group or any side having the high moral ground. It all parties in the conflict as have their fair share of guilt and how pointless it is to fight violence with violence alone.
Yes it was only and movie even though it was based on factual events, it still contained a powerfull message, probaly not powerful enough though to sink into the heads of some though
