That's interesting .... Shouldn't they be discussing it in a "consensus" manner of rationality each step of the way, prior to the "waste" of time & both human/financial resourses, prio to getting to the draft stage?
How long DID the opposition get to discuss the IR Laws? All of ONE hour? Or, was it even less? How many pages was in that bill?
And the disaster that was the "privatisation" of the Snowy Rvier Scheme cost taxpayers, how much? How long was that discussed in the 'party' room?
