Yet again, we have even more, absolutely -blatant- Bu*l Sh*t, from our dear friend, 'fumoy'.
This guy's propensity for spruiking absolute 'crap' seemingly knows no bounds.

"Mot Telco installs have batteries inside and beside electrical equipment and don't require ventilation." Un-Quote

Fact: All, Telco sites have ventilation of their battery rooms, most of them in fact, having 'forced ventilation', to vent to the external atmosphere any buildup of explosive Hydrogen, and extremely toxic Stibine gases, both of which are liberated from Lead Acid batteries as a normal course of their charging process.

The RedFlow ZBMs do not under their normal operating conditions vent any gases and it's only under extremely elevated temperatures that there is any chance of a 'tiny' quantity of bromine gas being liberated from the ZBMs electrolyte containment vessel and that is the reason for their design's built-in carbon filled catch-can which then captures any such small gas emission, containing and neutralizing it safely, and thus preventing it's venting to the atmosphere, unlike all Lead Acid installations which offer no such 'care' for our environment.
