In some way these developments only put the recycling technology happening in the US right now in the box seat, I don't see the US buying enriched Uranium from anyone , especially from Russia or China or any other non US country in the future?
In fact I reckon the US will place a heavy TAX on the use of new natural enriched Uranium use in their reactors, either that or they maj just mandate that all new fuel loads have to be from recovered Uranium, it may not happen for a while until capacity is built into the GEH system.
If GEH can get this new recycling method up and running? then why would the US add to their waste problem by using natural enriched Uranium? when they can help with the amount of waste that needs to be buried by recycling UNF and using what is recovered in their reactors.
