So the underwriting of options basically ensures that AZY will receive the full amount of funding possible due to the options - good for AZY.
It also takes away any need or basis for pumping the stock prior to the expiry date, giving stability to the SP and for holders, knowing that any rise in SP is due to other reasons. - good for holders.
That's the way I see it anyway. I've never seen options underwritten before so happy to hear others reasoning.
Hopefully we see Gassin's 2.5c tested and broken once trading resumes.
