I thought it is to try to reduce the number of emails they're getting about the timeframes. All those "are we still going to get X on this date?" or "what is happening with Y that you said we'd get today/yesterday?"
So I think it's more indicative of the type of small shareholders they've got rather than the professionalism of management.
I'm happy to have a new indicative timetable. Lots of other companies miss expected delivery dates but don't issue new dates.
