Don't get too excited, throwaway. The PH gas deal just returns pricing to previous. See: IPL announcement 19 Dec 2013.
NEGI will make a big difference to PH, in certainty of supply and in IPL's ability to negotiate with a wider range of gas producers.
Elsewhere in Qld, the Moranbah AN plant remains gas supply restricted. It will probably take construction of the Central Qld gas pipeline Moranbah-Gladstone to restore to full production and introduce pricing tension. See: IPL announcement 8 July 2015.
