I think the reason Axiom drilled Isabel first is that the historical data indicates that Isabel is higher grade than San Jorge. The historical data has it at around 1.2% Ni while San Jorge is around 1% Ni. I am interested in this figure of 159Mt that keeps getting quoted. The historical data was drilled by Inco (I think in the 1960's and early 1970's) and in modern terms none of it would be JORC compliant. In any case I can not find any reference in the Inco reports to a resource figure of 159Mt (being the combined historical resource for San Jorge and Isabel). Does any one know where this 159Mt figure comes from? The resource figure which Inco calculated was for San Jorge, Isabel and another prospect called Jejevo. Did Axion ever have Jejevo?
