re: gold -what will happen
G'Day Billy and george. Gold (the metal) is showing overbought on the charts. It's moved too far too fast. That's not to say that it won't go further. WIth gold anything can happen but I feel that a slight retrace or consolidation looms ahead. Possibly not immediately but soon.
Today's action in the gold stocks was interesting. Early on there was consistent selling into the rise as profit takers and technicians took advantage of the increased liquidity. Certainly, there were some good turnovers today. Overall I thought the rise in shares was about what one would have expected given the overbearing cynicism that gold has amongst the masses. Billy, I think it's way too early in this gold bull run to get the kind of price jumps you're talking about. It'll happen but you need to be patient...
