The data and our lifestyles and livelihoods are enmeshed in this technology. What if the Government owns the infrastructure and they double or triple the costs of access? What if the government controls the flow of data and the nature of the data? I have grave concerns about governments controlling infrastructure at all. Who would police the police? This seems to lead to the questions being raised by the crossbenchers concerning a Federal Corruption Watchdog. Just sayin'
