Australia's cash economy is the elephant in the room. Just think about how many small businesses there are in this country taking cash accross the counter or doing cash jobs. Then there is the unemployed sort that buy and sell second hand goods or mow the lawns around the neighbourhood and so on..... sunday market stores can net an easy $500 - $1500.
Then there is the employed middle class bloke with a little cash side business on the go cutting wood in summer and selling it in winter, flipping cars or a bit of cashie tradie work on the weekend ... anyone for a bit of homade Thai from the sunday market?
Getting all upset about the sneaky rich just because it's in the news and like its a new thing we have just discovered is laughable and shows how the emotive folk are driven by the media cycles.
Big picture please people. This narrow focus is showing up little of the big picture.
