Expectations - What happened over at Sandfire, page-24

This morning the share price rose from 63.5c to 68c and then fell back to 64c all in the space of 2 minutes, with most of the action happening in just a few seconds of those 2 minutes. As the bots were buying anything for sale up to 68c, they were filling the space behind them with buy orders. Then when it took the price straight back down to 64c it was just selling to itself.

It's very interesting to look at the course of sales if you are statistically minded.

Then the bots continued to take the price down to 56c where they got caught by a buyer taking quite a few hundred thousand off them between 11.39 and 11.42, at 56c and 56.5c also an obvious bot. The first bot took the price up again, but on the downside never tested below 57c again as it didn't want to lose shares.

The real shares traded today were those bought by the bot in the first few minutes, when it took the price to 68c, then lost a few at 56c, 56.5c, then a few more during the day, but on nothing like the overall volume given.
Tomorrow, look for subdued trading for a few minutes, before the bot takes out higher priced sells, from 60-65 or thereabouts, then pushes the price back down until it starts losing too many shares. It will be very wary of the 56-56.5 area of the other bot.
Then at any time soon we could get an announcement about some drilling results, which will totally change the game.
