u say tomato and ...... "The Tyrepower systems would likely be too small (being sold by pimply lads filling in from Tesco's on the weekend while paying for college and likely not being able to convince buyers to lash out big bucks for an appropriately sized system for a full house) for a VRB type battery."

~ just thought that it was a novel approach by reportedly, the largest retro 'tire' & battery co. in the world, in order to facilitate an on-line pre-design for an off the rack small scale renewable energy system,
    and,
the next time one of us pulls up for tea & scones and discount petrol at a tesco, maybe we should explore the DIY dept. to see wot those 'pimply faced lads' have on offer. LoL.

"I would push VRBs smaller (5-50kW) systems towards the small commercial sector (you know, Outback cattle stations, servos and small towns and inner-city airconditioning backups) rather than individual house holders."

~ firstly, it might be an idea for the beavers to get around to presenting the pricing power for their respective vrb products, eh.
    sheeesh/
even the lowly ZBB can at least provide an on-line guide.

"The economics of underground coal gasification mated with an on-site generator got a lot better recently when the Papua New Guinea gas pipeline became a little more nebulous. The competition from the pipeline was always going to be one of the main competitors for the PCE plan."

~ mighta been even sooner, if a couple of boyz from the terrace hadn't screwed over marlborough with that bulong b.s deal, eh?
