Virtually impossible to prevent ofcourse, but great for holders. Exciting times.
My view is that once we achieve a significant Western offtake/takes the effect on the SP will be more dramatic than some may believe.
The launch of the new Tesla and the resultant orders have really defined where The EV market is going, and it's growing in my opinion far more quickly than many alleged experts have been suggesting - it looks like being seriously disruptive. The demand for graphite and other materials for Li batteries now look like exceeding expectations well and truly. Now there will be greater urgency to secure the best products possible as quickly as possible.
The first company to achieve a Western offtake of significant substance will create an enormous amount of interest in the sector - a sector which has been stagnating and frustrating for many holders across many companies.
The fact that Magnis' concerntrate is in a class of it's own will become patently obvious to all.
Whilst that's not to say that another company won't rival Magnis in that sense in the future, we are so far ahead now that potential offtakers cannot afford, in my opinion, to wait any longer for a better deal or a better product.
They, as I see it, have no choice.
An offtake of significance would mean, basically, from a simple point of logic, taking into regard the BFS, that funding will follow with a high degree of surety. The graphite is needed, EV evolution is not a pipe dream, it's an exponential reality, along with other uses, so in my view - after a Western offtake or two - the whole thing's a no brainer.
The Chinese monkey on the back will be then long forgotten.
I didn't think that the BFS would do a lot for the SP, but I think offtakes will for the above reasons and others not mentioned but most would be aware of.
It's also encouraging to have a little advice from one who has ridden the Mozambique horse from the lows to the highs and down to VA. Well qualified

Reckon KOH may have to increase the 70 - let's hope so anyway!
