SIMON CREAN A Crean Labor government will nationalise chickens and take responsibility for their welfare. We will educate them and provide 100% medical benefits if they get hurt crossing the road. When they stop laying eggs we will finance their retirement in chicken retirement homes so they do not end up in soup tins.
Income taxes will rise to seventy-five cents in the dollar to finance this brave and forward thinking chicken policy initiative. We will soon announce our policy on turkeys when income tax will rise to ninety-five cents in the dollar.
