What I do believe, is that a person that appears to be senior on HC shouldn't make a comment like that unless you know the caliber of a person.
Although he just said email, he is referring to a much broader statement. If you knew half of what our CEO has percervered through and still maintained a commanding place in the company and still responds to shareholders big or small , then you would certainly reconsider a very silly response
I do accept you are new here so you would not know, but I can assure you that I have never met a person with a character and internal fortitude such as he, not with standing to still be able to deliver results through the worst of times.
