The thread header and article title tell you all you need to know about the agenda of the author of the article. They're conflating people who do valuable work such as teachers, police and nurses with unemployed people who receive welfare..."One in two voters is fully reliant on Public Welfare." The intent is to degrade to zero (and taint as parasites) the value of the contribution that nurses/teachers/police etc make to our society. At least the hard right are being open about the agenda that they're peddling in the gutter press and parading themselves for all to see as the enemies of decent society that they are.
