I will add - having lived there for many years, including being there that day...that most people know that the US FAA (Fed. Aviation Admin) took the unprecedented step of grounding ALL air traffic for some three days on 9/11.....but there was an exception.
Immediately after this grounding, many Saudis then in Washington DC somehow flew out of DC. This actually included members of the binLaden family (believe it or not).
This is not conspiracy stuff. I was there. It's long known.
This is a huge can of worms that has been re-opened since the 9/11 Commission's findings are now being re-visited (by 60 Minutes, and now the Times, of all entities).
