Tony999, thank you for your honest appraisal, and from HotCopper's perspective I would like to add that this is why we do NOT like seeing groups go off quietly and form, as they tend to end up as feel good soothing places where you go to hope your investment will remain solid.
We believe 100% that contrarian posters, the dreaded down rampers and nay sayers are one of the best features of HotCopper, as they save a lot of people from investing in the 'touchy feely' stocks that have been pushing on with a solid group of followers for a long time.
At least they should make you think twice before putting your life's work or saving into a stock.
The longer you are all here in Hotcopper, the more you will realise that it's the good contrarians that are the posters who actually deserve hearts, not the ones that post day in and day out about how good a stock is.
I could name many posters on both side of the ledger, but you all have to work that out.
Good luck all with your investments, but this post deserved more than just a thumbs up Tony, so had to write a few words.
