Jeez I dunno, maybe the hundreds of rock chip samples that have been taken over these prospects in question over the last 100 years from various prospectors, GSWA and various other entities (such as the blokes who put together that book you refuse to read) and none of them every recording a sniff of lithium in them...
You see some of the best geology books were actually written 30-40 years ago, such as gold & ghosts, pegmatites of wa book etc, back when geology was a lot more Boots on the ground and not market driven geology spin, leading mug punters on a merry go round. Side note; gold and ghosts book now worth around 800 bucks if you can get your hands on one and haven't dismissed it as toilet paper just cos it's a couple of decades old...
thats probably why you are a researcher and not a geologist muscles. Latest and greatest not always the best. Tread with caution that's all I'm saying. Oh and your right I haven't walked the 400sq kms but I have done several seasons mustering on a motorbike on the 1 million acres in question and know every rock outcrop and hill like the back of my hand. You see Cows walk very slowly when your pushing them over a couple of days, plenty of time to stop and kick a few rocks when your a keen geologist in waiting, especially when there's gems to be found. I've got a wicked rock collection from it, full of all sorts just no spodumene crystals unfortunately. But hey maybe me and the 50 other blokes that went before me all missed them
