I agree that JD is often negative on this stock, which he holds, and it seems incongruous to many.
For myself, I am in a similar frame of mind as JD but not in so extreme a place. I don't speak for him, and we've had run-ins in the past on other matters, BUT, my thinking is that this is a forum for stock discussion and I get disconcerted when I see non-stop super-positive posts lobbing when there are obvious and present dangers. I think it is incumbent upon holders to acknowledge risk, as well as the positives, in their postings, not least because newbies to the stock need to be aware of what they are buying.
Surely the aim of holders/posters is not to suck-in the unaware (sorry unawares) but to attract by educating and promoting a balanced view of the stock; say, as PG did in their recent report, probably not a good example because retail punters cannot be across all the detail and in discussions with management, but to the extent that they can, it is necessary, IMO, to temper one's enthusiasm with a dose of reality.
Having said that, and being aware of plenty of risk attached, I have bought a few hundred thousand LOMOBs in the past days and I'll be exercising.
