If Hart buys BPC for net asset value, isn't he effectively buying BPC for free? He pays a dollar to get a dollar? If going private was the best option could't BPC simply have reduced its capital (restructure) to take out the minority shareholders.
I don't hold out much hope in the directors giving an independent view.
