There are a few messages that i will take heed in todays announcement;

1. Bid unconditional on DD = must be bottom of cycle and happy to ride the upside
2. Board confident in new CEO strategies (I have not heard a pep from him so assume business as usual, which suits me fine because the strategy and execution at an operating level looks good) = lets ride the cycle through
3. trading conditions have stabilised and order book has strengthened= refer points 1 and 2

If there are any Bradken Board members here, please please done be tempted to sell after the longest mining boom in history which has been followed by the deepest down turn.

I (like the Board) struck out on picking the end of the boom, to follow that up by selling at the bottom would be just plain dumb.

I am here for the long haul. The Board should have my interests at heart.
