The jv with Omni Projects is an interesting development - Horseshoe Well. Where this land is situated is shown on Figure 1 on the 19/4 ann. RNI already held the adjoining tenement, having surreptitiously acquired it only a year or so ago. I'm sure it didn't pay for it, and I'm also sure that it has not reported having done any work on it.
Briefly, these parcels are to the west of the original VMS cu/au deposit discovered in the Bryah at Horseshoe Lights. It's way to the west of Doolgunna and north of the Fortnum gold mine sold last year by RNI to MLX (hmmm, I wonder what's happening there with gold production); but a close look at said Figure 1 makes me think that they are in vms cu/au territory. Why do I say that?
Mainly because of the closeness or adjacency of the Narracoota Volcanics (dark green on the map) and the Ravelstone Formation (pale blue). I could go into detail about that but it would be wordy so I won't, but if you are interested in this then look at the same colours on Figure 4 in re Forrest-Wodger-Big Billy in the same ann. Same thing! Also from page 4 of the 19/4 ann: 'The geochemistry and host stratigraphy is analogous to the Horseshoe Lights VHMS deposit, which is positioned within the same stratigraphic horizon, approximately 25km to the east.'
Getting the picture?
Now read this from Peter L's instructive ann 24/7/13 re Big Billy etc : 'The identification of a key stratigraphic horizon between the Narracoota Formation meta-volcanics and the overlying Ravelstone Formation, that is interpreted to act as a prospective mineralising “trap” position. This position is analogous to the location of the Horseshoe Lights Cu-Au base metal deposit;'
Got the message?
So who is Omni Projects p/l? I had assumed it was something to do with Omnigeox, PL's consultancy firm, but to test my assumption I spent a few bob on doing a company search today. My assumption was correct. Omni Projects p/l is owned 100% by Omnigeox p/l and the Directors are PL himself, Scott William Brown and Nicholas Andrew Caldwell. Obviously Omnigeox and RNI continue to associate. That's icing on the cake for me!
