Not quite 100% correct, whilst testing and buying in a herd is relatively fast you can't just start that quickly.
If a farmer was running both A1 and A2 herds then they would need at least 2 sets of tanks, one for A1 and one for A2. They would also have to separate the herds (easy) at milking time but would have to flush the A1 out of any pipes etc before they could start milking the A2 cows, or they would need 2 of everything (which may be easier).
So its not quick to move from A1 to A2, unless you buy in all A2 and sell out all A1 cows (which is an up front cost but the fastest)
