Will the first large scale production of graphene worldwide take place soon in Australia?

And will FGR be part of that historic event?

Lets put together 4 or 5 recent announcements.

    1) 11/4/16. "Australia will become the first country in the world to use the new "super material" graphene , in the large scale manufacture of an industrial product, the CEO of Imagine Intelligent Materials, Chris Gibney, said today.
    - IIM has licensed Geofabrics Aust Pty.
    - Geofabrics have exclusive use of IIM's graphene coating technology for textiles.
    - to be used to locate and fix leaks in landfill, mining and construction.

IIM had previously announced the development of Australia's first graphene manufacturing plant in North Geelong. The plant will commence production "later this year".

    2) First Graphite Ann: Update on Graphene Testing Program.
Graig McGuckin, CEO of First Graphite, announces the latest results from the University of Adelaide, including:
    - continuous 24 hr runs
    - very large average graphene platelets
    - over 80% yield
    - very high quality/purity graphene confirmed
    - FULL SCALE COMMERCIAL 250 li CELL DESIGNED. (my bold)

    3) From recent FGR Roadshow Presentation:
    - CURRENTLY (my bold) scaling up to commercial production.
    - in collaboration and testing with several potential industrial graphene users.

    4) Far East Capital analysts reported (see bbuster post 18/4/16).
" FGR will be able to set up small modular units in the factories of the end customer". There will be low costs in transporting high purity graphite, and little waste products left behind.

    5) Management have recently expressed the thought "the next 3-6 months will be very exciting."

So, do we deduce that FGR/IIM/Geofabrics will soon announce the first large scale production of graphene from SL vein graphite, to be manufactured in a North Geelong factory later this year (possibly as early as August has been suggested)

If this happens, what will Mr Market think?

Where have the Aussie commentators been (asleep?)

A question for you Mr Bear (you're always asking us)
Will this make FGR worth $1 ?

And, will this accelerate the fortunes of FGR as the pre-eminent supplier of high grade, high purity graphite/graphene to the world?
