The only official mention of consolidation (as far as I am aware) was made at the 2014 AGM.

Chairman (GF) - "Decision ratified by the board that any decision to consolidate shares will be put to a SH vote at a GM prior to any action being taken. Adding a degree of certainty to our share sculpture."

A shareholder then asked...

SH: When you mentioned share consolidation in your opening address, is that a forewarning that it could come onto the cards soon?
GF: It's in answer to questions that have been raised. What we wanted to do was eliminate any concern or fear as a decision made by the board. That's why we established the policy that if that decision had to be made we would have to go to the SHs.
SH: Is it something being considered?
GF: At this stage there is no immediate reason why we would do that. But things can change along the way. There hasn't been anything come to us immediately to indicate that, and so it's a case of establishing a policy so everybody can see it happening as it's been proposed.
IM (former director and major SH): What I'd like to add, is that if and when that time comes, it would be a positive. It won't be a negative because it will only been done off the back of something significant.
