Since the word polytheist/ ism is not found in the Scriptures, you be the judge.
I have no intention of being the judge; I am seeking clarification of what Jehovah's Witnesses believe.
The NWT has John 1:1 in these terms.
1 In the beginning was the Word,+ and the Word was with God,+ and the Word was a god.*
I understand that you think that this god refers Jesus as distinct from Jehovah who I assume is your name for God. You refer to Jesus as THE Archangel implying that at least this archangel is a god. Furthermore you revere Jesus Christ as a Lord, implying that this archangel is a revered god.
The revering of more than one god (God) by my understanding falls in the definition of polytheism which is described in the bible without using the term polytheism (according to you at any rate, which is fine).
I will be grateful if you would correct any of my misunderstandings about Jehovah's Witness doctrine. The reason is that I talk to Jehovah's Witnesses fairly frequently and none appear to be as knowledgeable as you.
