    LOTM,

“As for AT&T they only started doing business with them late last year. Its aimed more towards the Dataflex product rather than the Freeway product.”

That doesn’t look correct. From the presso: “Freeway by Syntonic launched October 2014 on AT&T Network”

“I'm starting to wonder if you're taking the Michael here, or just don't want to do any meaningful research of you're own?”

Let’s not discuss people rather than the stock. Research is not the only valid form of exploration. Asking questions can help expose weaknesses or provide leads for research. Also, it can give an idea of newbie concerns about a product. Best to aim for an objective understanding of a stock’s pros and cons from many viewpoints.

    freekid29,

“I did discuss bandwidth capacity for mobile data with GG at the Techknow and he shared with me that Major Telcos have over capacity for mobile data, something like 40 years worth of capacity based on the current growth rate.”

Interesting. Maybe other countries have ample bandwidth compared to Australia. I’ll look into that. Note that expected bandwith is growing extremely fast. Cisco says, "Globally, mobile data traffic will grow 8-fold from 2015 to 2020, a compound annual growth rate of 53%."

“So what sort of guesstimate figure can we put on the licensing fee revenue from Tata that would ignite the cr cancellation?”

Wouldn’t it be less than AT&T, since AT&T are bigger? It depends on whether that December AT&T income was for one year or for less than one year, and whether it was just a warm-up for greater AT&T revenue to come.

“How hard do you think the Telcos would be marketing to their millions of subscribers to jump on the freeway?”

Telcos would be looking to get the balance right so that they don’t cannibalise their own paying customers in the process of attracting new non-paying customers or increasing engagement of low-paying customers. Probably less of a danger in wealthier countries than poorer countries. Or maybe freeway would be sometimes more profitable for telcos in wealthier countries.

PSF said, “Syntonic generates revenue from the mobile operator through an annual platform license, a sponsored data traffic tariff, service hosting fees, and a content-based revenue share.”

So it seems PSF is getting a lot of revenue from the telcos. How do the telcos benefit? They get revenue from the bandwidth that PSF buys plus a cut of the content-based revenue. I wonder how much that is? If you do a search for “freeway” at att.com, you get no results, so they don’t seem to be promoting it hard, although searching their website is only one access point for such info.
