I have read and thoroughly enjoyed The Richest Man in Babylon but it was It the book " Rich Man Poor Man" that gave me the insight into being able to be financially free and the ability to retire early.

I went to pick up my grandchildren from school the other day and whilst waiting in the school carpark I counted up the large, lavish expensive vehicles the women were driving. There were very few small economical cars in the car park.

When I questioned my daughter about it she told me, " Dad you are so out of touch."

It seems that many today are living a life beyond their means and in doing so tied to financial institutions with no end in sight of financial freedom or being able to commence planning for their retirement.

Wow !! How things have changed over the years.
