SFR has spent a lot of money on exploration, but as much as $100m ?????

Your implied statement that seismic surveys are needed lacks supporting evidence. In fact I dispute it.
DeG and Monty were found without it. While it's true that SFR did ss a little while ago close to RNI's Doolgunna the results have not been released, but it's my view that it was done to examine the crustal architecture.

This is a post I did on SFR a week ago about it.

"I had a chat with SFR at the RRS conference last September about the geophysics (should have been 'seismic survey') but not much was let out of the bag. It was still being interpreted I was told.

That said, I don't think though that it will tell-all, being an aide instead as to knowledge of the crustal architecture that exists there. That's very important though.

No, not ss specifically for vms imo.

RNI does not need seismic surveys to find vms specifically.
