I only recently bought into DDR and got in for the yield. My view is that because it is quite illiquid (average volume only 100k), it has been caught up in the market volatility, especially this year. In my experience, when the market is so volatile illiquid stocks do badly SP wise as shareholders move their money around to catch the rises in more liquid stocks. Illiquid stocks can have significant price drops on very low volume. Once things settle down I believe that the SP for DDR will be on a steady rise. Certainly, the fundamentals are great and look at that yield!
