Public listed companies are required to disclose to ASX information concerning the company that a reasonable person would expect to have a material effect on the price or value of the company's securities as soon as the company is or becomes aware of the information. ASX does not consider it acceptable for the release of such information to be delayed until the release of a company's periodic financial report or until the release of the information has been considered by the board.
Therefore, if CDC has a ten year joint venture agreement which commenced in 2013 with ODFA, then I believe that AHF has a duty to disclose this to shareholders if it is reasonable to expect that the JV would have a material effect on the share price. I could not find anything in the August 2014 prospectus about ODFA, even though the reported JV pre-dates this prospectus. My conclusion then is that any such joint venture is not material to AHF at this stage, and is not relevant to the share price. I hope so for the AHF Board Members anyway, as they would be in big trouble if this were not the case, and it was material.
I completely agree with other posters about this stock being a "slow burn" investment not suited to short term traders. It will still reach the moon in my opinion, but may take longer to get there than some would like. I expect that each year it will make significant progress with increasing profits and total shareholder returns.
