Movidius got a 40m raise recently, for a valuation ~300m. Despite the tech differentiation, it's going to be quite difficult to compete against that kind of capitalization and early mover advantage in the machine vision feature recognition market, especially if the use cases tend towards CNNs rather than SNNs. Their chips work already and are available to market, ours still haven't been fabricated (only emulated in FPGA). Movidius' executive and marketing teams also seem much more capable given their ongoing press and VC interest.

Not surprised Yann is positive on Movidius and negative on Brainchip by the way - he has previously outlined technical reasons CNNs are superior for vision work vs. SNNs on Facebook.

On a more general note, sentiment changed from hold to none - not sure what to make of this inability to woo press coverage when others are having no issue doing so. I hope they recruit an effective CEO within this quarter and begin to show some real leadership and sales initiative rather than attempting to rely on the (fading & purported) superiority of the design.
