Happens all the time on ASX., when someone has big interest to keep the price low for longer, to keep buying for cheap from panicked shareholders and corrupted fund managers.

In this case, the low price for longer works well for all-controlling Crescent, because they have good justification not to waste earning on dividends and possibly get more CRs to dilute the remaining shareholders. They're either going to kill the price further and try to take it private, or let it go low for another year or so and then flog their share of revamped CDD on recovered oil market for $5+.
