Why would a company sign a deal 3 years in advance.. Great question. When that company is an enormous juggernaut seeking to diversify it's supply, after a period of its own due diligence it will consider its long term position and make arrangements from there.
Seeing as your questions are so geared towards improper activity on the part of KNL, I suggest to you that KNL openly put to its German customers that their contractual support would give rise to the possibility of a guarantee from the German government. Naturally, this type of partnership was further conveyed with discussion about assistance by TK et al to obtain debt funding.
But no, clearly this is all about your concerns with management and whether they have complied with their legal obligations or whether they have misled you. In which case, I am interested to see your correspondence with the company where you raise your concerns as a shareholder. Or... Didn't you do that?
