Shanghai & HK today were closed also!
but the Nikkei certainly followed thru with the downturn considering they had a public holiday Friday & it was their Interest Rate & lack of stimulus announcement that rocked the market - Thursday.
W Buffet has come out & stated 'ticking time bomb" banks & derivatives - circa 2008!
Read an article today Re: Banks exposure to energy companies holding it all up (in a negative interest rate arena) because otherwise it comes tumbling down, well cascading.
Will be interesting to see data out of the US tonight.
NCM - nearly reached the nice figure of 20 today
NST - hit & closed on their previous high.
SAR - same as NST, new territory price for both.
OCG - nice finish
SBM - nice finish
Numerous Brokers are/ have been stating gold companies are overvalued on their targets.
