re: staying steady Good to see some new posters with well educated thoughts/opinions.

From my understanding, hospitals would buy the device in bulk orders in stead of a couple at a time. The figure your quoting of 450 annually could easily be acheived within the first year depending on marketing, results etc etc. There are thousands of people out there needing this device NOW and the talk about not enough surgeons capable of undertaking the operation is in my opinion not an issue. Surgeons are quite capable of understanding the in's and out's of the procedure after a little training.

I think the biggest hurdle for VCR management now is the marketing and getting doctors/hospitals etc really interested in the product. After all its they who will endorse the device.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when they make there launch next month. It would be very interesting to see what reaction they get with the announcement of the trial data. Surely it will be better than any other device currently and previously on the market.
