Just watch those stop losses - you are likely to miss out on more profits by selling good investments than the losses you will avoid by selling bad ones.
There is not a lot of room in a successful value investors strategy for stop losses.
When do you get back in now? When the price rises higher than you sold for? Probably just in time for the next stop loss to occur.
Next thing, you give up on a good company because its too volatile or not following the pattern you want.
I've also learnt this from bitter experience.
