throwtheslider>"You say that the IWG product is poor quality and has nothing to offer. Telstra and Blue Tech have different opinions..."

Maybe. You do not know their opinions, motivations or contracts. Now who is writing their own narrative? IWG sales figures would suggest the market agrees with me. $58,000 in receipts in 3 months. The truth is in those figures.

throwtheslider>"...I am sure that I could readily muster up networking experts that question the current 'best practice' solutions and poke holes in how you configure and secure networks."

Go on then. If you know people who think the entire global ICT networking industry is doing it wrong, I would like to hear their arguments. In particular I would like to hear any arguments which suggest iWebGate's pre-configured Linux box answers those questions.

The time for iWebGate's products was 10 years ago. The industry is now awash with products and innovations which will manage and secure networks and clouds. The market is now extremely competitive and the big players will probably take most of it, as per usual. A single Linux box running a bunch of free software packages is not going to sell in any great numbers, and is certainly not going to change the world. I suspect that after a year of next to no sales, Telstra have already realised that, and in due course Blue Tech will too.
